Osteopathy is a holistic medecine. A practice which considers the patient as a whole and the interdependence of different symptoms. The patient’s complaints are addressed in different ways and considered at different levels, not only at the musculoskeletal level (parietal osteopathy), but also at the level of the organs (visceral osteopathy) and at the craniosacral level. Indeed these levels influence each other. [?]

Articular dysfunctions (such as blocages or “mecanical problems”), as well as muscular or connective tissue dysfunction, (dysfunction at the level of the fascias) will be treated. (The aim is to restore the physiological range of motion.) To achieve a good result, the treatment will take into account the totality of these concepts and the body as a whole.
Dysfunction in the organs and the surrounding tissues (i.e. after surgery, sickness or inflammation) can cause various problems in the organs and /or in the musculoskeletal system. Different techniques improve the circulation, innervation and mobility of the organs and the treatments are done in a holistic manner.
Craniosacral therapy is efficient in treating tensions in the area of the skull and sacrum and their surrounding tissues. Both the lymph and venous circulations are improved. In addition to this, the treatment has an effect on the vegetative nervous system and will bring a relaxation of the whole body.
